You be the judge – we need your help!
Nexus Primary Health is calling for passionate individuals to join the judging panel for our ‘Don’t Park in the Blue Spot’ poster competition.
Don’t Park in the Blue Spot Background:
Don’t Park in the Blue Spot is a Nexus initiative to raise awareness about in relation to the importance of using accessible parking appropriately in the community and also risky behaviours that can lead to injury.
Schools across the Mitchell and Murrindindi Shires have been working with Nexus on this project and have provided their students with the opportunity to take part in our poster competition. There have 100+ entries demonstrating the passion our community has for promoting inclusion for everyone.
What happens to the winning poster designs?
An official launch event will be hosted at the Nexus SuperClinic, Wallan in October 2016. Every entrant with receive and invitation to attend along with their families – the winning designs will be unveiled along with prizes and giveaways. The winning posters will form the key materials and images used by Nexus to promote inclusion for people with a disability.
What is the commitment to be a judge?
The panel will be coordinated by the Nexus Rural Access Worker, and will require you to:
· Attend 1 panel meeting of approximately 2 hours in September 2016 – for project briefing and to judge the competition.
· Attend the launch event in October 2016.
