Nursing Services

Nexus Primary Health have qualified nurses who hold current registration with AHPRA that provide support and assistance to the General Practitioners (GPs) for the management and education of patients.  

Health Navigators

Nexus Primary Health employ Health Navigators (registered with AHPRA) that work closely with our General Practitioners to identifying vulnerable patients in the community that may benefit from co-ordinated care through health plans.

Endocrinologist

Dr William Lau. Commencing mid March 2021.

Paediatrician

Dr Jonathan Ajzner (Yoni) is a child and adolescent specialist.  

Dr. Yoni works closely with other health professionals such as lactation consultants, maternal and child health nurses, speech pathologists, psychologists, occupational therapists and also liaises with preschool/school educators as appropriate.

Dr. Yoni is a child and adolescents specialising in:
•    behavioural problems
•    eating disorders
•    unsettled babies
•    constipation
•    asthma
•    developmental delay
•    autism spectrum disorder
•    ADHD (attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder)
•    sleeping difficulties
•    general paediatric medicine

What to expect
Individual assessment. Sessions are one-on-one and include development of a treatment plan that considers your individual needs and lifestyle.

Referral process
A referral from your treating GP is required to see a specialist.  

Please note that referrals are only valid for 12 months and referrals must be valid at the time of consultation to be able to claim a Medicare rebate. Payment is required at the time of consultation.  

Referrals from Specialist to Specialist are only valid for 3 months. 

Cancellation Fee

A cancellation fee will apply for patients who cancel an appointment within 24 hours or fail to attend on the day.  

Payment is required within 14 days of receipt of invoice.
