Amanda Mullins Chief Executive

Amanda joined the Nexus team in 2020 as Chief Executive.

Amanda’s career in health started in general and critical care Nursing initially and moving into health management roles in varied not for profit, private equity and ASX listed companies.  Her qualifications in nursing, health promotion and business management support her extensive experience.

Amanda’s experience in change management, and resource and people development, is grounded in a strong and mindful leadership style.  She strives to build strong and resilient teams and believes the strength of any company is grounded its people.

Amanda recently moved to the local community and loves living the farm life with her cows, chickens and home grown veggies.

Barbara Moss Business Services Executive Manager

Barbara has been a Community Nurse for many years which has enabled her to have a variety of roles since starting at Nexus 13 years ago. Barbara has been in management at Nexus since 2014 and is currently managing the Business Services team. Barbara has been integral in the roll out and management of our Client Management System – TrakCare. 

The Business Services Team are responsible for performance monitoring and reporting and the team includes our customer service team as the first point of contact at Nexus. The team is responsible for Infrastructure and IT, asset management as well as client engagement/customer services.

Barbara has a great love of the environment and she is involved in a number of local community groups.

Bronwyn Allen Community and Quality Executive Manager

Bronwyn has worked for Nexus Primary Health for over 30 years, initially as an Occupational Therapist and more recently in management roles. Bronwyn is passionate about the growth that Nexus has seen over the past years with the subsequent expansion of services and geographical areas to meet the needs of our communities.

As the Community & Quality Executive Manager, Bronwyn has a number of responsibilities including ensuring that our quality processes and systems meet funding and legislative requirements, including accreditation requirements.

Bronwyn also has oversight of a number of operational teams including allied health, community support and assessment services, social support and the health and diversity team.

Simon Gibbs Community Access Executive Manager

Simon has been a valued member of the of Nexus Primary Health family since 2009, commencing as a Bushfire Case Manager.  Since that time Simon has had the privilege of supporting many teams and team members across multiple programs.

Simon’s role as Community Access Executive Manager is to oversee and manage the ongoing program delivery in the areas of Drug and Alcohol, Financial Counselling, Counselling, Mental health psychosocial supports, Family Violence supports, Individualised Services and NDIS.

Additionally, Simon supports and facilitates organisational change, to ensure that services provided by Nexus are consistent with community expectations.

Marie Searle Clinical Services Executive Manager

Marie has worked in healthcare for over 34 years in the areas of primary care multi-centres, specialist and allied health services in senior management roles.  Marie’s role as Clinical Services Executive Project Manager is to support and manage the GP Services Team, District Nursing Services, Diabetes Educators, Continence and student projects for Nexus. Marie’s passion is to coach and mentor teams so they can develop and grow whilst working collaborative as a team with a focus on the patients/client services. 

More recently, Marie has studied Lean Healthcare to reduce waste, analyse and improve systems, processes and workflows that will improve the patients/clients experience and increase job satisfaction for employees.

A key focus of Marie’s role is to review existing systems, processes and workflows in our clinical services and make improvements where required and implement new services to meet the needs of the local community.
