Australian Charities and Not-for- profits Commission Australian Charities and Not-for- profits Commission

Nexus is a registered charity – Promoting the Registered Charity Tick on Nexus Marketing Materials is a useful way for our organisation to highlight our charitable status, along with our listing on the Charity Register.

The Australian Charities and Not-for- profits Commission (ACNC) has created the new Tick of Charity Registration (Registered Charity Tick) to help charities show the public that they’re registered with the ACNC.

Accredited General Practice Accredited General Practice

Nexus Health is proudly AGPAL accredited

AGPAL accreditation is independent recognition that general practices meet the requirements of the RACGP Standards. Achieving general practice accreditation with AGPAL is a major achievement and a clear demonstration that Nexus Primary Health is striving to improve their level of care to both patients and the community. The Standards provide a recognised national benchmark for general practices and services and a template for quality care and risk management.

When you visit Nexus Primary Health, look for the AGPAL Accredited General Practice Symbol. Accredited practices are committed to delivering safe and quality-focused healthcare for you, your family and the community. This means you can be reassured of high-quality care and support, and that safe work practices are provided to all patients.

HDAA Certified HDAA Certified

We are fully accredited with ISO9001:2015, Human Services Standards and National Standards for Mental Health Services.
To ensure that we continue to meet these standards we are regularly reviewed to ensure that we are delivering a high quality, safe and effective service.

Aged Care Quality Standards

As a provider of aged care services through home based care, allied health, nursing and social support, Nexus is required to comply with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Standards.
In November 2020 we received a Directions Notice from the Commission to further improve our assessment, reviews and care plans. We are currently working with the relevant staff to implement those improvements.
