Our new Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is now open for applications. The main objective of the CAC is to ensure that the views of consumers, carers, and the community are considered when planning, designing, delivering, and evaluating healthcare services at both individual and program levels.

Active consumer participation in health service planning has been proven to enhance healthcare quality and the effectiveness of health systems overall. Your role is crucial in helping us meet the needs of the communities we serve. By engaging in health service planning and providing valuable insights, you can help design more responsive and efficient healthcare systems that cater to the community's unique needs. This approach allows for more patient-centred care, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes and increased satisfaction in the community.

We seek highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join us and contribute to ongoing improvements in our health services. The CAC is an advisory committee that works closely with the Nexus Primary Health Board. If this opportunity sounds like something you would be interested in, please submit your application below.

We welcome applications from individuals who belong to communities we may not often hear from, such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander, migrant, refugee, and LGBTIQA+ community members.
