Launch of the Nexus Primary Health Disability Action Plan (DAP)

We are proud to announce the launch of our Disability Action Plan (DAP)!

We are working towards an accessible, inclusive, and equitable organisation where we aim to break down the barriers and empower individuals of all abilities to achieve the desired quality of life. With the Disability Action Plan now in effect, we confirm our dedication to championing diversity and creating a welcoming environment.

With the shared support of our staff and community we look forward to seeing this plan achieve its goals by 2026.

Northern Health and Nexus Primary Health have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to partner together and strengthen their commitment to addressing health and wellbeing challenges in Mitchell Shire. We have some exciting news to share! Our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) has been endorsed by Reconciliation Australia and we are proud to launch our plan to our community! Our Innovate RAP is an important document which focuses on developing and strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, engaging staff and stakeholders in reconciliation, and developing and piloting innovative strategies to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
