Launch of the Nexus Primary Health Innovate Reconciliation Plan (RAP)

We have some exciting news to share! Our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) has been endorsed by Reconciliation Australia and we are proud to launch our plan to our community!

Our Innovate RAP is an important document which focuses on developing and strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, engaging staff and stakeholders in reconciliation, and developing and piloting innovative strategies to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Our vision for reconciliation is a future where we have contributed to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the regions we service. We are committed to equity, irrespective of cultural or linguistic background, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion or spiritual beliefs, socio-economic status, age, or abilities.

We are working collaboratively with Taungurung Land & Waters Council, Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation, Goranwarrabul House, Mitchell Shire Council, Murrindindi Shire Council and the Goranwarrabul Mob and Friends to contribute to the wider cultural shift in making an inclusive and equitable future for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

We look forward to the support and collaboration of our dedicated staff and community as we work towards achieving our actions by 2025.
